About Jeff
Jeff was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and attended Joseph Greenberg school (grades K-6), Gilbert Spruance school (grade 7), and graduated from George Washington High School (grades 8-12) with honors. He went on to attend Peirce College, working at J.M. Fields and Two Guys department stores to pay his way, and earned a degree in Computer Science.
He worked his way from junior programmer to Director of Data Warehousing at IMS Health before going into consulting and starting Schott Consulting Company in 1997. During this time, he co-invented “US Patent 5420786 – Method of estimating product distribution”, presented at Uniforum 92 (a computer trade show), and designed/implemented software solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Financial, and other business sectors. Jeff is currently president of Schott Consulting Company and is still actively consulting.
Jeff has been happily married to his wife Christina since 1983. They have two children and are expecting their first grandchild in March 2010. He has volunteered in his community by: coaching four seasons of soccer, assistant coaching two seasons of basketball, creating and overseeing fund raising campaigns for ice hockey and cheerleading teams, contributing to the expansion of the local parochial school, and recently has been elected to his local homeowners’ association board of directors.
Jeff feels that our government has been acquiring too much power, acting fiscally irresponsible, and is leading our country in the wrong direction. Our politicians have forgotten that they represent the people and have succumbed to political parties, special interest groups, and their own political aspirations. Jeff would be honored to represent the interests “of the people” in Washington and is looking forward to discussing the issues with the people of Pennsylvania’s 8th district and earning their trust and respect.
