My support is going to…

Today, is the three month anniversary of my decision to leave the race for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th district. In that time, I’ve been reading the press on all of the remaining 8th district candidates, watching their speeches, and reviewing their fundraising numbers. It is now infinitely clear to me that Mike Fitzpatrick is the best candidate for our district and the one best positioned to beat Patrick Murphy in November.
I had the opportunity to meet with Mike shortly after leaving the race. Mike drove across the county to meet me even though I told him upfront that I was not ready to give anyone my endorsement. He allowed me to grill him on the issues important to me, such as: Cap & Trade, out of control spending, the economy, his prior support of card-check, and energy policy. Our positions on the issues are very close. In these past three months, he has consistently stuck with those positions and demonstrated that he is able to put together a formidable campaign.
I urge you to consider supporting Mike Fitzpatrick to be our next member of Congress.
