CBO underestimated – again

By Jeff

The CBO just released a new 10 year forecast.  It seems that the public debt (total debt is much higher) will be 2 trillion dollars more than they originally estimated.  I saw the following numbers on Fox & Friends that shows President Obama’s effect on the debt.  And let’s not forget, Patrick Murphy voted for all of these increases.

Public Debt Your Family Share
President Obama Took Office $6.3 Trillion $56,000
Today (March 26, 2010) $8.2 Trillion $72,000
CBO 2020 Estimate $20.3 Trillion $170,000

You can read more detail in this Washington Times article.

Spending is totally out of control.  It is time to replace our politicians with fiscal conservatives before our country is totally ruined.
